Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 will support HTML5 video, include a new JavaScript engine and will speed up your browsing experience.

Microsoft unveiled the beta version of its IE9 web browser on March 16 during the MIXIO developer event in Las Vegas.

The most notabel upgrade is wider compliance with current Internet Standards – a step that brings IE closer to Firefox, Safari and Chrome rivals.

Reports suggest that the new browser will not work on machine running on Windows XP, a move that will hopefully encourage users to upgrade their operating system to Windows 7.

The company has a long way to go before it catches up to the rapidly advancing industry but it is clear that Microsoft is trying to head in the right direction with the IE9.

You love browsing through multiple tabs on Google Chrome? So let’s try TabJump, a new extension for the popular web browser that helps you navigate through multiple open tabs.

TabJump located at your address bar and organises all open and recently closed tabs in a fairly easy to find manner so users can quickly jump between open pages.

Do you have an important page that you want to save? TabJump allows you to lock tabs and prevent accidental closure.

TabJump is a free to download extension for Google Chrome. You can search for it at https://chrome.google.com/extensions.

p/s: I still cannot install Chrome in my Windows 7. I found a guide to do it but it’s never successful. Anyway I really miss Chrome

Google the company that for many has come to define the Internet, has quietly rolled out an online dictionary offering the meanings of words in more than two dozen languages.

A visit to a Google Dictionary service at google.com/dictionary shows a clean, simple webpage with a box for selecting languages from a drop-down list and a second box for typing in words to be defined.

I search the video demo from You Tube but I cannot find one. Anyway Google Dictionary is simple, and you can use it with ease. The dictionary service offered definitions of words in 28 languages and to translate terms for or into English. Cool and it is really helpful.
